Jam-o-gram Terms of Use

Welcome to Jam-o-gram, the community discussion space within the Tamberine platform. Before you can post, create branches, or share media, please read and accept the following Terms of Use. These terms govern your participation in all interactive features of the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By tapping I Agree below, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, tap Decline — you will still be able to read public content but will not be able to participate in interactive features.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By agreeing to these Terms you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Your Account

Jam-o-gram uses Google Sign-In for authentication. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to use only your own Google account and not to impersonate any other person, organisation, or entity.

4. Content You Post

You retain ownership of the original content you create and post on Jam-o-gram. By posting content, you grant Tamberine a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. You are solely and fully responsible for the content you post and its legality.

5. Community Standards & Prohibited Conduct

Jam-o-gram is a creative, collaborative, and welcoming community. You agree not to post, upload, or transmit content that:

Is unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or invasive of another's privacy
Contains hate speech targeting individuals or groups on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic
Sexually exploits, endangers, or depicts minors in any way — zero-tolerance; violations will be reported to relevant authorities
Constitutes non-consensual intimate imagery, "deepfakes", or fabricated sexual content involving real persons
Infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property right of any person
Constitutes spam, unsolicited advertising, chain messages, or repetitive off-topic material
Contains viruses, malware, or any other code designed to damage or gain unauthorised access to systems
Facilitates, promotes, or glorifies illegal activities, self-harm, or violence
Impersonates any person, business, or entity, including Tamberine staff or moderators
Harvests or collects personal information about other users without their express consent

6. Respectful Engagement

We expect all community members to engage respectfully and in good faith. Disagreement and debate are welcome — hostility, personal attacks, and harassment are not. We encourage you to report content that violates these standards rather than responding in kind.

7. Moderation & Enforcement

Tamberine reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we determine, at our sole discretion, to be harmful to the community or to individuals. We may, without notice, suspend or permanently ban accounts that repeatedly or egregiously violate these Terms. Serious violations, including any involving minors, will be referred to law enforcement.

8. Intellectual Property

The Tamberine and Jam-o-gram brand, platform design, code, and infrastructure are owned by Tamberine and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any licence to use our trade marks, service marks, logos, or brand features outside the normal use of the Service.

9. Privacy & Data

Jam-o-gram uses Google Firebase for authentication, database storage, and media uploads. When you sign in, your Google display name and profile picture are stored and displayed alongside your posts. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. By using the Service you consent to this data processing.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tamberine and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will present the updated Terms to you for re-acceptance within the app. Continued participation after such notification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Tamberine operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

14. Contact & Reporting

If you have questions about these Terms, wish to report a violation, or need to contact us for any reason, please reach out through the Tamberine platform. Reports involving illegal content will be treated as urgent and acted upon promptly.
